You must have a valid, unexpired Pakistani CNIC registered in your own name. The CNIC must match the land ownership records in government database.

🌾

You must own agricultural land (Fard required) OR have a valid tenancy/muzara agreement. Tenant farmers must provide a letter from the landowner.

🏘️

Resident of Pakistan

Must be a Pakistani citizen currently residing in Pakistan with an active mobile number registered on your CNIC via NADRA records.

📏

Land Size (Kisan Card)

Kisan Card Phase-2 is primarily for small farmers with up to 25 acres of land. Larger landowners may have different eligibility under other credit schemes.

🚫

No Defaulter Status

Applicants must not have any outstanding bank defaults or blacklisted status in the State Bank of Pakistan’s Credit Information Bureau (CIB).

🔐 eKYC is Mandatory

How to Apply

Kisan Card Application
Step by Step

Follow these steps to successfully apply for your Kisan Card and start receiving government benefits.

1

Gather All Documents

Collect your original CNIC, land record (Fard), mobile number registered on CNIC, and any tenancy agreement if you are a tenant farmer.

2

Visit Agriculture Department Office

Go to your nearest District Agriculture Department office, Punjab Kisan Center, or designated facilitation camp in your tehsil. No online registration is available for first-time applicants.

3

Fill Application Form

Staff will fill out the Kisan Card application form using your documents. Verify all information before signing. Do not leave any section blank.

4

Biometric eKYC Verification

Your fingerprints are verified against NADRA database. This is mandatory and takes only 2–3 minutes. Ensure your fingers are clean and dry during biometric.

5

Receive Kisan Card

Your Kisan Card is mailed to your registered address within 10–15 working days. You will receive an SMS confirmation when your card is dispatched.

FAQs

Kisan Questions

Can I apply for Kisan Card online? +
Currently, first-time Kisan Card applications must be submitted in person at a District Agriculture office or facilitation camp. However, renewal and balance check can be done via SMS 8171.
How do I use the Kisan Card to buy inputs? +
Use your Kisan Card at any authorized agri-input dealer (seeds, fertilizer, pesticide shops). Simply swipe the card and provide fingerprint to deduct the amount. No cash is given.
What if my fingerprint is not matching? +
If biometric fails, you can request a manual override through the Agriculture Department officer using your original CNIC. Elderly and manual laborers often face this issue — it is common and resolvable.
Is Kisan Card different from BISP? +
Yes. BISP Kafaalat is a cash transfer for low-income households. Kisan Card is an agri-input subsidy specifically for farmers. A person can be registered in both programs separately.

Is Your Kisan Card Still Pending?

Thousands of eligible farmers haven’t received their Kisan Card yet. Don’t miss out on Rs. 25,000 per acre in agricultural support. Check your eligibility today.
